Manager, Human Resources

SUMMARY OF POSITION

The Manager, Human Resources is responsible for delivering, coordinating, and managing HR processes for the US Almatica organization.

ORGANIZATION STRUCTURE

This position will report to the Senior Director of Human Resources and is based in Morristown, New Jersey.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Executes recruitment strategies to help ensure the organization is optimally  staffed, by attracting, selecting and maintaining a workforce with the right mix of leadership, business and technical expertise that each function requires
  • Ensures that company policies and procedures are followed and suggests new ones that contribute to foster a Best-in-Class organization by addressing the needs of employees and the business 
  • Provides guidance to line management on a wide range of topics including employee relations, recruiting, and talent coaching and development
  • Ensures a consistent and quality application of the Performance Review Process and related performance management activities and programs 
  • Supports the leave of absence and immigration processes
  • Leads local employee engagement programs
  • HR project work as needed, including Affirmative Action Plan, Leave of Absence Management
  • Performs other duties as required

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5 years work experience in a fast-paced, hands-on Human Resources team
  • Previous experience supporting commercial functions, preferably in the healthcare/pharmaceutical environment
  • Bachelor’s Degree required, Masters preferred.
  • Knowledge of employment law and compliance requirements 
  • Ability to influence decision makers in an organization 
  • Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills 
  • Excellent verbal/written communication abilities; effective interpersonal skills; strong attention to detail 
  • Highly organized with strong follow-up skills and the ability to multi-task and priority setting.  
  • Strong sense of urgency; ability to execute quickly and efficiently 
  • Team-oriented with the ability to flex in support of the timelines, and deliverables of team members 
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and appropriately handle sensitive information with tact and discretion 
  • Working knowledge of human resources systems, (preferably ADP – Workforce Now), Microsoft Word, Excel, internet and social media channels as they relate to recruiting. 
  • Ability to travel as necessary, out in the field with sales reps, meetings
